DescriptionINDICATIONS – SCALIBOR COLLARScalibor collar contains deltamethrin, a powerful repulsive that protects against various insects:Ticks: protection for 6 months.Sandfly bites: Protection for 5 months.Mosquito bites (Culex pipiens): Protection for 6 months. HOW TO USE – SCALIBOR COLLARScalibor is very easy to use. We recommend that you adjust the collar to your dog’s neck and cut off the remaining end of the collar, leaving a length of 5 cm after the buckle. The dog should wear the Scalibor collar for at least one week prior to entering in a high-risk area.The Scalibor collar is waterproof and effective even when your dog is wet. The collar contains delthamethrin, which  is released in the lipidic layer of the dog’s epidermis. This layer is water resistant, giving the product a longer protective action.However, some shampoos can remove the lipidic layer of the epidermis, including the deltamethrin. Your dog will no longer be protected in the week following the bath. However, it can be used on lactating bitches.Accidental overdoseIf the collar is accidentally ingested, you may notice the following symptoms: uncoordinated movements, tremors, hypersalivation. These signs will disappear in less than 48 hours. Consult with your veterinarian for an antidote (for example diazepam).User precautionsKeep Scalibor collar out of reach of children.Do not let children play with Scalibor collar.Wash your hands with cold water and soap after touching the collar.
